Caspian to be second Narnia movie
The CS Lewis novel Prince Caspian will be the second film in The Chronicles of Narnia series following the success of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes and Georgie Henley will return as the Pevensie children, with filming due to begin in the autumn.
"If we don't make it now we'll never be able to, because they'll be too old," said director Andrew Adamson.
Narnia topped the worldwide box office for the fourth week in a row this week.

I highly recommend Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. Saw the preview when I went to see 2012, so it should be out soon. Read the book a couple weeks ago and it was a great thriller. If you'd like something made more for kids, The Lightning Thief is due out in February. Book is by Rick Riordan. Looks like it will be a pretty good movie and the book was good too. The first book in The Last Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney (Wardstone Chronicles in the UK) is called Revenge of the Witch (Spook's Apprentice in the UK). IMBD says its in production for a 2010 release, but don't know anything more than that. Loved the book. The Blind Side by Michael Lewis. Book was great, I think the movie is already out. IT's non-fiction. Julie and Julia by Julie Powell. Also non-fiction, saw this trailer on The Ugly Truth DVD so it should be out soon if not already in theaters. Also at the theater already is Jim Carrey's portrayal of Ebenezer Scrooge from Dicken's A Christmas Carol. The Box by Richard Matheson. Has Cameron Diaz in it, I think. Can't go wrong with a story by Matheson. Alreayd showing.

Prince Caspian is next. It's most likely coming out in 2008, but that is subject to change

none they skipped like 7 books when they made the movie the reason is that it was the only one that was a hit and didn't connect itself to the other books
