People have thought that I was blunt before and I changed my ways. I notice that we live in an especially sensitive society from attempts to ban the word "God" on money, to banning flags at certain places, etc. It just doesn't seem hard to offend anyone these days. Is this country that divided? I think everyone here does not have a united belief, respect, and so forth. What do you think?

Yes and no. Yes because either criticism or slamming U.S. foreign policy is seen as a one way ticket to sitting with the radical left. No, Americans tend to overcome their sensitivity with humor or do not care much for different point of views. It seems everyone tends to walk on eggshells now a days.

Not so much sensitive but whiney nutless wonders. We whine about everything!!! From the war to the oil companies rapin' our household budgets, we whine.

We aren't cohesive enough to change anything, we just sit in front of our computers and complain. While the "machine politicians" (both sides) get elected and re-elected and the son's and daughters of past politicians are annointed with high paying government positions. They just keep on callin' the shots and we just keep on paying them to do so.

Sensitive? no Doomed to a caste system? probably

There are those of us that are extremely sensitive and get hurt pretty badly a lot. Personally, I do beleive in God and I do have compassion for others, but I have learned to use caution with some people because they will use you and you end up hurt. I have a compassion for young children because they try to be honest, but I have found that adults use their kids to gain other's confidence, just to use them. We all have choices in this life, for we must all learn in our own manner what God wants us to learn because we are so extremely willfull. After all, we are His children.

BACK OFF!

Seriously, people feel that they get picked on for a variety of beliefs and stands. Being defensive is a way to protect themselves.

Don't change your ways. You can't change minds or preceptions. Don't try. All you can do is move forward.
