My junior prom will probably be my first dance and i don't know what to do.

It is called "blob dancing" you get in a big group of people and just party like u r in a club. we did this at my dances and it worked. if you swing ur arms a lot then ur on ur own.

You don't really have to dance, its just really all about having a good time so that you would actually want to go out and have some fun. And you don't have to worry about what anyone thinks about your dancing because mainly everyone is dancing and having a good time and i'm pretty sure no one would talk about you! And maybe the spot light would end up on you and you would definetly go home with something to talk about!!! JUST HAVE FUN AND BE YOU!!!!!!!

at my first dance...6th gr :(. lol. I was new to the whole bump and grind movement. I just did what my friends did. You gotta feel the beat and move with it. If that dosent work grab a guy and he'll like mold you and show you what to do..but dont do that if your not comfty with guys humping you :(. lol watch that promiscuous video by nelly furtado and timberland. if all else fails start a train!!! or grab a snack..snacks are fun!

you don't have to dance you can hang with your friends and have fun that way or sit in a corner and read a book like andy hurley did from the dance, dance video.

When there is slow music, which there obviously will be, get some lessons for slow dancing or something. When there is jumpy, hip hop and rocky music, MOVE YOUR BODY! Also, you can easily move your hips nicely in slow music too.
