While your fan enthusiasm is understandable, I don't think that you can compare any pop singer at all to the great voices you hear in the Classical music world, opera, or even musical theater. There is just WAY too much going on with pitch correction software and lip synching to begin to trust that a packaged product like CA is even a singer at all.

i think she is an awesome singer! She dresses tacky and may not always pick the best songs. But come on! Listen to her voice she's 20X better than most of the singers out there today.

No. Christina's talent is undenaible. she has great vocal prowess but for me the greatest singer is whitney houston. not only did she have the voice, she had the ability to connect with the listener.
whitney was one of the most special things that happened to pop. now if only she'd do it again...

not really but not like she sux at singing or nething like that cuz she is actually rather good at singing. she is a good perfomer too. and her lyrics are good. she is definately music talented! just not in the history of all singers.

I seriously doubt it. Although, once upon a time people actually liked the Bay City Rollers, so you never know.

She could be one of the greats, but she is too interested in selling an image and that includes restricting her voice to poppish nonsense IMHO.

thats a NO :) but everyone has there own opinion. Ville Valo from H.I.M has the best voice in my opinion.
