do women LIKE COMPLIMENTS?

it seems that women get offended sometimes by a compliment....
i mean ladies... if i said you had a nice body..... would you hold it against me?

Compliments are great, but it is according how you say them. The women who get offended may not feel good about themselves. Thank you for saying I have a nice body and no I won't hold it against you. And I might add I like that song.

All like complements.It depends on how you say it.Do not specify any part of the body.Say just you are beutiful today.You must tell only when the mood is good.Complimenting without offending is a great art.Good compliments are the proper way to enter in to the heart of a woman.Work place complimenting performance will do wonders.Good Luck

I love all possible compliments. A company of drunk men told me I look pretty as a geisha tonight and a repairman told me he can't work when such legs stand next to him yesterday. This is the type of compliments ladies usually don't like but I think that's so nice that someone thinks I'm cute

I like compliments... most women I know do! It boosts confidence and self-esteem. Guys just have to know where to draw the line. Avoid thing that might, make a woman blush or shy away. It could be a little embarassing to some to have such a display of emotion so soon in front of someone they don't even know yet.

Would be better if you told me I have a nice body and a nice personality... it's that thing with women that they are always a bit insecure, so if you compliment their body, they will think that you just see them as a good sh-ag, if you compliment them on their personality, they will think they are ugly like hell, so try to include something that you can see and something that goes beyond that and you will be safe!

I ADORE compliments, especially from the same sex because they normally don't have an ulterior motive, such as getting me into bed. Saying I have a nice body would make me think that you just wanted to get laid. It would be better if your compliments weren't so broad. When you get more specific, it makes it sound like you are being more truthful, so you're more likely to get a better response from the woman you are complimenting!!

Yes women like compliments if they are sincere. If someone I did not know came up to me and said hay you have a nice body, I'd probably think he was a perv looking for some action.

It all depends on how you say it. If you're with a bunch of guys, and you say it with drool coming from your mouth, then that would be offensive. But if you say "Excuse me miss, no harm intended, but I think you have a nice body, or you look nice in those clothes" then no harm to be done. Us Women love compliments, it's just hard to know if you're speaking from the heart, or elsewhere:)

hmm, maybe the reason if the woman reacts against you if you compliment her like that is because she's bulimic or anorexic...

Every woman likes compliments. Tell her she looks good today, and the next second she'll be dashing off to a mirror, looking herself all-over. Perhaps, flattered by the compliment and couldn't get enough...

It really all depends on what is being said and to whom, and how they take it. Too many compliments may show a lack of self-esteem and a need to over-confinsate for that. Either that or they are trying really hard to impress them. Just remember compliments once in awhile makes the girls smile.
