A man's car breaks down outside the local insane asylum. Try as he may he can't get the car started. At that point, a patient inside the facility calls out to him, "Your distributor cap is lose." Seeing he was right the man tightened the cap and the car started right up. Wanting to thank the patient for his help the man asked, "So what's a smart guy like you doing in a place like that?" The patient replied, "I'm crazy not stupid."
No answer there but it fit the question.
The answer is neither. A sane person wonders if he is insane and so does an insane person. Just because somebody tells you that you are insane doesn't mean you believe them. That is one of the reasons we have assylums. Disbelief.

I believe it is better to be sane and have doubts because if you were insane there would be things you couldn't fully do. You might not be able to be on everyones goodside but you could function fully in life. Also, nobody would send you to an insane asylum.
P.S.- They say if you think you're crazy you're actually not.

you can't be insane and know it because the rules of insanity were developed outside of your own intellectual pursuits
but if you are sane and have doubt it then that just means you're alive

Either way you sane!!!
It's when you think you are normal and never question whether you are insane ~ that is when you should worry.
But since you think you are normal, they you never do worry, now do you!?!
For example...
If I thought I was "normal" and carried on a conversation like this...
DJd200480289kjkjshfhslkdhhslkd88002lksjf8shahwjkennlske...
And actually got somewhere with it...I think at that point...one should start to worry.
But
If you carry on, day in and day out, only stopping on rare occasions to wonder if you're crazy...
That's not crazy to wonder, that's normal!

i think, since insane people doubt they are insane, I woud prefer to be insane and not have a clue.

If you think your "crazy" get check out by professional & if the feel that are (get two doctors or etc..) Take the pills and get better.
Why shoot your self in the foot, when it comes life only get one go at it???
