the men were probably the reason why the women were taking the drugs in the first place!

The woman/man thing is like the race thing. There are the good and the bad apples. Have you checked your newspaper lately? Now that woman get to do things men used to always do back then (go to work instead of staying home, go partying with their friends, etc) cheating is now 50% everywhere. Personally, I am from an originally modest background with dad married to mom for 30 years now and I can tell you I'm not a crazy dude, however, I have dated and unfortunately crossed the road of many crazy females, believe me. And it makes sense. In a society with date rapes, rapes, molestation, abuses, assault, and all the unreported cases, how do you think all the female victims (which are more than the male) are going to cope, if not with drugs, crazy behavior and the such. It all adds up I think

Some use it as an excuse but many times it is true. BUT.. it's also as equally true that many women left their husbands for the same reason.

They are blamming the woman, instead of themselves. They want to look the big shot to their friends. They are not going to admit they took drugs too. It's just one white lie and little white lies won't hurt anyone right? Wrong. =o)
