NO!! Hamsters are solitary, territorial animals that enjoy living by themselves. I've had a ton of hamsters and the only ones that don't end up killing eachother is a breeding pair-and it doesn't take long before you have a ton of little hamsters-which if not seperated in a fairly short amount of time, will inbreed/and or the mother or father will kill and eat the weakest ones. All in all, unless you're serious about breeding a pair, keep them apart and they will be their happiest!

I wouldnt right away, they can fight terribly. Put them next to eachother first and then put them together in a neutral territory or a new cage. The existing hampster you have may be territorial about his space.

I used to have a hamster, and it was female and had babies. One lived, and I kept them separate. They didn't seem to get along, but I kept them separate just in case. I would suggest letting the two hamsters play in an area that you can watch them, and see if there is any aggression. If there is any signs, I would keep them separate, and maybe just let them play together when you're watching.

I put them together, but I watch them carefully, especially because one is still a baby. The one that was there first will most likely fight and 'argue' but I've learned the best thing to do is pay a lot of attention to the older one so it doesn't feel threatened.

Hamsters are very territorial. Its better to pair them up if they are young. Hamsters can be vicious!

I wouldn't do that if I were you. I know that certain breeds fight and opposite/same sexes will fight. Call your local pet store and ask someone who actually knows.

That depends on if they're Syrian or Dwarf hamsters. You didn't say.
