My ex did not pay chsup for 6 years of our son'slife. After some nasty tactics were applied he has succsessfully been paying for the last year and a half 79.50 weekly. I do not complainin about the amount or ask for more although I could. Today, he called wanting to take our son for the summer, he felt it was necessary to inform me that he would "buy" for his other children who residew/ their mothers but who were also with him for the summer, but my son should not expect anything while he's there. My son loves the time he spends w/ his father, but I hate the vists b/c they turn into ways for his father to harrass me about being made to pay chusup. I am sick of being harrassed and then spending each encounter pissed or depressed. He is pressureing me to tellthe judge that we can handle chusup payments on our own b/c it has affected his life. I have addressed his behavior numerous times only to get cussed out or hung up on. I don't care if I see my ex ,but i don't want to hurt my son.

How it's effected HIS life??? How about the 6 years you had to scrape to just get by because he wouldn't get off his sorry a** to take care of his obligations???? DO NOT change anything concerning how you get your child support. I think the 6 years he didn't pay one red penny told you how he "handles the situation". As for him having to not pay you child support while your son is with him, he is in arrears and OWES you that money. It has nothing to do with the summer visit, just the six years he didn't pay jack squat! Tell him to kiss your butt and get a freakin' life and live up to his responsibilities. And I can see why he gets mad when you talk about this, because sometimes the truth hurts, and if being called a sorry father hurts...well....tell him to prove you wrong then YOU hang up on HIM.

Then let your son go see him for the summer. But dont say anything to your son about the "adult" issues. And tell your ex not to put your son in the middle of your fight and use him as a scapegoat. Tell your son that when he gets back, you will take him shopping for some new summer clothes or whatever...

Do you want your son to suffer thru this? Have ex contact your lawyer from now on if he wants to talk to you about anything. Do not get rid of the court. And do ask for more money, dear. If he can afford other children, he can afford this one. Don't cut yourself short. Good luck!

tell your ex that your not going to the judge and changing anything if he wants to see his son thats no problem but you don't want to hear anything about the child support payments. tell him if he's not calling to see his son then he shouldn't call period you don't have time to keep going over the same stuff. i would tell him flat out only call me when you want to see your child nothing else and don't believe that oh we can do this on our own excuse without the court he wouldn't be paying anything trust me on that and don't take anymore of his **** make it clear to him.

talk to a lawyer, he doesnt need to have your son for the summer if he is going to treat him differently than the others. just keep the support going through the court, or he will screw you out of it one way or another. been there, done that.

This REALLY needs to be brought to the attention of your attorney because it sounds like you're being manipulated. Document every occurrence (email, voicemails, letters, etc) if possible and get that info to your lawyer.
