The Psilocybe and Panaeolus genera of mushrooms are the two primary hallucinogenic strains that are incubated by the dung of vegetarian animals. the actual "plant" part of the mushroom (the mycelium) is underground - what you see growing through the pile of crap is analagous to a piece of fruit from a tree.
if you aren't familiar with mycological identification, you should avoid eating any mushrooms you find. some species (ie amanita phalloides) will kill you rather quickly.

huh? i dun get it....i dun think so. and probraly a species like that wouldn't be found for several centuries. except in shows or movies.
mushrooms are fungi with a stalk and a cap. like an unbrella. i think they have myclieum. aka roots. some are poisonous and some aren't. that is why u shouldn't eat mushrooms u get from like the ground or something without identifying it. eating it can be poisonous or deadly. i am pretty sure u know that.

shrooms do have cow and i think maybe elephant crap in them or on them or around them...whatever they have on them they still get you high if you eat enough
