Are you trying to print the article off the webpage? If you are your printer could be overwhelmed by the color and graphics. Try copying into word or another word processor and print from there. That should work. If it doesn't go to the help menu or the maker's website and read the trouble shooting.

Assuming you removed the piece of tape covering the head of the ink cartridge, you might try using the printer's cleaning and aligning utility that most printers come with as part of their software. A new cartridge ought to work fine, but sometimes the nozzles in the print-head need a cleaning. So, try that, and I wish you luck.
