electromagnetic frequency?

Which one of the following electromagnetic waves has the highest frequency? Explain why, and if u know of a website with a simulation related to it, i would appreciate it.

a. Radio
b. ultraviolet radiation
c. blue light
d. infrared radiation

Shorter wavelength=higher frequency. I know radio waves have longest wavelength so must be lowest frequency. and I know from longest to shortest wavelength it is radio...IR...ROYGBlueIV..Ultra so I would guess ultraviolet has highest frequency.
Since all electrmagnetic radiation on the spectrum moves (through a vacuum) at the speed of light, if the wavelength is longer, fewer of those wavelengths are going to pass a certain point, thus a lower frequency (or Hertz I believe is the term). The shorter the wavelength, the more wavelengths are going to pass a certain point in one second so their freq is higher.

Ultraviolet radiation....radio waves have the lowest electromagnetic frequency, followed by infrared and visible light (ie. blue light).

A partial why:

ULTRA violet and INFRA red are named because the lay just above (ULTRA) the violet end and below (INFRA) the red portions of the band we perceive as visible light and the colors in it. Microwaves, for another example, are named because the waves are measured in micrometers.

Actually there is no why; the names are somewhat arbitrary designations for what is a continual spectrum. In every electrical engineering (my degree) and physics class, we measured things based on their frequency and its effect on transmission method; the designations aren't as important.
