Any driving school will train you if your felony was only 10 minutes old. The question is, would you get hired after school. The answer is yes. Although some companies will not hire anyone w/a felony, most will if the offense is ten years old.
My best advice is to MAKE THE DECISION OF WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND YOUR FIRST YEAR IN THE TRUCK BEFORE YOU TAKE THE TRAINING. Schneider had the best deal as far as training and the first year. I would check w/them first. Make sure your gonna pee clean before you go!

It's more complicated than the answers you've been given. I have been in recruiting and training for many years. Plus I own and operate trucks interstate.
Hiring may depend on the type of felony (violence, use of a vehicle, theft, drugs, etc.). Some companies have different hiring standards depending on the type of felony, as well as the age of it.
Talk to a school that has excellent job placement assistance. Talk to them about the felony and what companies they work with that accept situations like yours. Then, talk to the recruiters yourself and get a verbal OK that they would hire someone with your record. Finally, submit an application to get a "pre-hire" letter. This is not a job offer, but it is an assurance by the company that you meet their standards (assuming you get your CDL and that you told them the truth about your full background).
Never lie about your background. Be honest about it because if you lie and a carrier catches you (and they will), you could be out of a job forever.
Some schools will train you even if you are an axe murderer. Others are very careful about who they admit, and they work hard to find employment for their graduates. Look for the latter. For example, look at Sage or AIT. Also look at the Guide I recommend below.
By the way, some people think that company-paid training is the way to go. My view: NO WAY. It should be the absolute last resort. The bottom line is you can end up in much worse shape than if you had full control over your employment decisions. With "paid" training, it is really "slave" training. Poor training, low pay, no options. If you have any other choice, do it!

My daughter is accepted manager for Dairy Queen, She suggested to inform you to continuously, continuously continuously positioned it down, reason it wil get closer you. previous that she says that is determined by what it became for and the way it ought to narrate to at least one in each of those pastime you're looking for for. She says each body merits a second danger, yet she will be in a position to no longer employ absolutely everyone who became in touch with a gun, or abuse of a baby. Gun is her own element, and clearly who would pick a baby abuser at an ice cream position. She has employed some human beings who had drug issues and one with a unintentional manslaughter fee. yet she suggested to stress to you to be instantly ahead and up the front about it, in all likelihood 10 years received't remember to HR once you've been precise because then.

I think Stevens Transport does. And maybe the local community colleges. At least ours do.
Next, try your local paper or if you all have what we call " The Greensheet", it lists several in there. Tell them upfront and they will tell you.
SOMEONE I know was training, but didn't make it due to his blood pressure issues.
