Yes. They can also clean out any bank account you have by closing it out and taking the money that you have in them without notice.depending on state they can take your drivers license if you get behind on child support or put you in jail. Be careful with state in forced child support...They will take your tax return also.hope this helps good luck.

Yes if you owe child support the state can take it right out of your check . you owe it you should pay it and support your children, after all they are yours . Don't be a dead beat dad and expect the state and the tax payers to support your children . That is what is wrong in our country now too many hand outs . always wanting a free ride at some one else expenses

Yes. The state can take child support from any employee, it doesn't matter if they get tips or not.

Yes. Child support is no joke. Whatever money you get and it taxed or whatever, they will take it. Even if you have a bank account they will try to take that, only if your behind in child support. The state wants their money and they will do anything to get it.

yes... but don't worry--- they can't take more then 50% of that check...... But you can always go into court and fight the amount, you may get lucky and they'll lower it. They did with my husband so its worth the try. But at the same time.... you should be supporting your kid(s) unless you see them every weekend and buy their clothes and shoes and whatever else.. then it should be lowered, but if you dont see your kids, then pay the support and dont complain, you made them---

Pay the child support you had the kid, pay for it, be a responsible person for the first time in your life.

Yes. If you make a salary it can be garnished. Why aren't you paying child support?

Yes, and you should thank them for doing it, since that's apparently the only way your children can glean any support from their father. Poor kids.
