Nausea is nausea, pregnant or no. You feel like your mouth is watering too much. And you feel sick. Some people throw up, others don't. Sometimes you're hot and sweaty, sometimes you're cold and clammy. But mostly you're just sick to your stomach.

It's different with all women, and even all pregnancies... I've been pregnant 3 times... first time, had morning sickness only at night, just felt like fatigue and like I had eaten something bad... just nausea, no actual throwing up. With second pregnancy, only had it when I woke up in the morning, or if I smelled hamburger frying (for some reason, that did it). Third pregnancy (twins), I would feel perfectly fine, then all of the sudden, just knew I had to throw up. I would, then I would feel fine again...
Hope this helps...

It feels the same as it would if you weren't pregnant. Like you have the flu. Some women throw up, some don't, some just feel like they are going to and then can't. It isn't that pleasant. If you are having morning sickness, let me tell you some things to do to help:
Eat frequent, small meals every 2-3 hrs- 2 to 3 ounces of protein and carbohydrates are best.
Eat saltine crackers or bread before getting out of bed in the morning and through out the day.
Eat or drink something sweet- fruit, fruit juice- before going to bed and before getting up in the morning.
Avoid strong, offensive food odors, citrus fruit, spicy or greasy foods, or fatty foods.
Increase your rest.
Take your prenatal vitamin before going to bed, with a glass of fruit juice or milk.
At bedtime try: 1/2 unisom tablet or 100 mg B6 twice a day.
Eat anything that sounds good to you, but eat it in small portions.
If none of this works, talk to your doctor about getting something prescribed for you.

For me, the nausea felt like the bottom of my stomach was churning all day long in early pregnancy. The slightest thing could set me off to need to vomit, such as coughing hard or even being overly active. It was not a good feeling.
When the nausea started to subside however, I would occasionally get 'waves' come over me, that only lasted for a few minutes. It was basically a case if I could get through that wave of nausea, I would not need to vomit.

The first time I had morning sickness, I was walking down the hallway in my apartment and I suddenly gagged and had to cover my mouth. After that is was that non-stop feeling and often I would throw up without a moment's notice. Hopefully you're more fortunate than that! Good luck!

Like the flu. I didn't actually throw up until they drew my blood during a check up. I got rid of the feeling by having a trainee do the drawing of my blood, had the bruise a few days later to show it.

It feels as if you're going to throw up which is what usually happens when you're pregnant.
