It "drives" me crazy! Why? Because I so can't af'ford the car!! If only they could dee'sign a car that was taylor made for someone as cheap as me! I am just one of those Hicks from tennessee though so I'll never be able to buy this car. *sigh*

Well after Ive read all the other answers I am a little different. I like Taylor Hicks and I like Fords but Im not real fond of the commercial. If you noticed Fords sponsered the show and we watched Ford commercials all through American Idol.Some were really good I really liked the ones with the Idols riding around in them. I dont think Taylor had anything to do with the designing of the commercial its just not a very good commercial.Thats not Tay lors fault.

I think he stole Chris Daughtry's gig. Chris should have won the competition (and the endorsement deal from Ford). He would have made a much better Idol. Hopefully we won't hear from Taylor after he releases his album (We can only pray).

I hate that commercial. But then again, I'm bitter about him winning. My friend was watching TV with someone who doesn't watch American Idol and she asked them "do you like his voice?" and they're like "No!"

I think it takes away from selling the car.The only way it will help is if the people who do like him actually look at what he's advertising.
