thank you jayeve and Ann B.
I might have to take a day off.
It's just hard to justify.. i really don't want to loose this job.. its stable and the pay is huge (im only 23). I am sure this is just a transitional period.. perhaps a test.. to make sure i don't forget where i come from.

thankyou jelly crystals.
i am just so tired babe, and so hungry.
i don't want to let you down.
yeah, your right. it will be all ok. and we do have all those things, just not enough money for rent next week or petrol for the car.
and yes you started work yesterday.. and that'll help. and yes i quit my second job yesterday.. but that'll make things harder.
and they will probably need me to come back next week. :/
Babe, i know these people can't help, i just hit my lunch break and was sooooo hungry, i nearly started crying, i was just about to pass out.
People are talking to me and i can't hear them, my eyes are red and raw in their sockets..
I asked this question at my lowest point today.
I am sure it will all be ok.
i would delete this question, but these nice people deserve the points.

Look just settle.................
Instead of stressing it will all be fine.........
Now it is good for the ego to get sympathy of people overseas but the fact of the matter is they dont really understand the situation so how can they help???
That is ofcause said without trying to offend anyone for you are all truly trying to give some assistance and hope.
First of all I am now working and will be able to cover next weeks rent!
Second of all my mother (who lives literally 2mins up the road) has fed us and leaves me the keys for us to have showers anytime!!!!
Thirdly you DO NOT have a second job anymore so there is no need to lie....... sure your last day was yesterday but still you are not working there anymore so you can focus on getting rested and getting paid.
Finally I was on the radio today and by "Chance" won a food voucher at opporto for $50 and your telling me thats not
Fate??????????????????
It will all be fine sweety I promise there are too many people and higher powers helping us out
We are learning life skills, we are only young.
Least we have doona's, blankets, comfy bed with a massive house thats costing $355 pw in rent and a car..... When you look at it we really arn't doing too bad!
Its a test!!!!! and we are doing it together!!!!
Be Strong!!!!!
I love you!

Considering you are asking this question, I can assume you have some nice friend or library from which to access the Internet... however to address your issues, you likely need to reconsider the expenses you undertake to continue your present situation. In other words, is there possible employment closer to where you live? In regards to your utilities, some companies will review a person's severe hardship issues on a case by case basis and can provide some assistance for a limited time. Without further information, it is hard to provide you with more recommendations as it seems you have already investigated your area charities.

Call the guy who hired you even if he is on holiday and tell him you're getting your lights turned off and eating the cat's food. Tell him to get some money to you (I bet there is someone in that office who can access petty cash or write a check) even if he has to wire it. If he's such a good guy, then he shouldn't let you sit in the dark due to his mistakes or whatever went wrong. If you can't get in touch with him then take it up with whoever he appointed "in charge" before he left. And if they don't come up with some money for you, then quit--- you can take your unplanned day off to go to the charities, and when your boss comes back, tell him the reason you quit was because you got tired of starving in the dark but you'll come back if they pay you.

If you are working, you should be getting paid (unless you are a volunteer). If your boss is refusing to pay you, you need to report him/her to the authorities, and find another job. In the meantime, move into the local YMCA for warm shelter and visit the local food banks/soup kitchens on your way to or from work if you truly can't afford food. Many of them will deliver the groceries right to your door if you can't find the time to get there. Finally, and most importantly, pray. Prayer can lift you out of many difficult situations, or at the very least, give you the strength to cope.

Hmmmmm your situation is dicey but can be sorted out maybe it is time re evaluate your skills and sorta see whether you can get a better job, i think much should be done to inform your boss of your financial needs and he should change your pay cycle to a two weekly or a weekly cycle, mthe government offers a lot of assistance to families of your back ground at the same i believe one should be independant and not rely on others, take pride in what you do (moving muscle to make a living for your family) at the same time re evaluate everything from your skills to other things in your life you may find a weekend of thought could lift you up from your situation, lifes full of choices, if nothing changes in your life nothing changes!!! its your life at the end of the day and your choices.

First, determine what your options are for getting your pay. Contact your province's labour board/employee relations board and ask them to take action against your employers. Ask about other income or food support programs you may be eligble for.
Second, go to a food bank. Lots of people have trouble making ends meet, even when they're working. Contact a church or community group and ask about food banks.
Third, if you're not getting paid then there's no reason to go to work. Quit one or both jobs and start looking for a better one. If they aren't paying you, you shouldn't be wasting your energy working for them. The church or community group you contacted earlier might have a job board. Local libraries often have job boards too.
Good luck.

I do not understand why you have not been paid in a month. If this job is not paying you, why dont you take the day off and go get some food. Your employer has the liability to pay you for your work. It sounds like you have been working for free.

It is hard to answer when I am not understanding why you haven't received a payment for your services rendered for a month. If u get paid monthly, your whole check is going to go on the first level of needs. You will make it, it is our human nature to only go without necessities of life for a short while.
Looks as if you are going to have to prioritize and take a day off to get community assistance. Try Community Action Programs for heat. Check states .org websites for references on help. There are food pantries and soup kitchens for hot meals. I myself have been through this before in a very hard time in my life but I guarantee.....THIS TOO SHALL PASS!
GOOD LUCK!

Ummm not sure where you live, but here in the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, too- it is summer- well within a day of it anyway. As far as not getting paid, you can call your state's dept of labor and make a complaint. Also, if all of this is true- how is it you still have electricity and the internet and a computer? Hmmmmm

You shouldn't work such long hours at a job that doesn't pay you regularly. Dump the the job and get one at a company that can...
