There are many good ideas already presented. I've also used un-inked paper bags to make a wonderful roast chicken. Place a paper bag on its side in a roasting pan or jelly roll pan. Spray the chicken with shortening spray, sprinkle on garlic salt, place it in the bag. Roll the end of the bag shut, but not tight up to the chicken. Bake at 350 degrees Farenheit for about an hour and a half. Tear away the bag and serve the chicken.

You can use them as garbage bags or cut it up and staple the pieces together and place by the phone in case you have to take down a #. Totally cheap memo pad! Also, around Thanksgiving time, cut two holes on the sides, and on on the top, draw some designs, and you have a Native-American-looking vest for a cool kid! Then, use one of the handles as a headband and stick a feather in it. Instant Indian! Too bad you have to wait til November...

I think you are talking about what I call grocery bags, the large brown ones? I use them to store things like magazines in, and I put them in the trash can to help keep it clean, and then throw away the bag when full.
They can be cut up and used as a supply of brown paper for wrapping things, making toy cut-outs for children, or masks with cut outs for eyes to cover the child's head for playing games.
Anything that you might use brown paper for will work.
Be clever!

Instead of buying book covers, paper bags can be cut and made into covers for books.

Have a lovely rest of the night.

you can use them with a plastic bag over them to clean your litter box of your cats. it cuts down on the smell and provides a more sturdy bag to handle when disposing the waste of cats. sometimes i use them or i use 2 plastic bags- double bagged. you may also use paper bags to put bananas in and put them in the fridge to brown the bananas for making banana bread. this is an old technique used by my mother and many others when making banana bread.

another "funny" answer is just like in scary movie 2 i think it is- where the Wayans brother is with the ugly freaky looking girl and he has the mouth piece cut out and bag on the girls head--- you remember that part of the movie!!!!! lol :)

believe it or not, I use one at thanksgiving (clean and well oiled) to cook my turkey in. It produces the juiciest, best tasting turkey you have ever eaten.
