if you got it as a baby and reared it on a bottle its OK ,beautifully loving animal ,but it can still kill you just by playing
i worked with lions and tigers for a while so i know.
cheetah is safer and also have to rear it from the bottle.
know a guy with a pet crocodile ,and a pet baboon both extremely dangerous animals that can kill you in a second, these animals may get grumpy when they get old and very dangerous ,including the tiger
,
Tigers have a infinite amount of energy ,
in the wild they have territories of about 40 square miles
they are always pacing up and down .unlike a lion that sleeps most of the time ,
Also they need a lot of food to be docile ,you would not want a hungry tiger around .
can you afford half a cow every week.
why dont you get a siamese cat or a hamster like every one else
i got a baby crocodile (see photo yahoo 360)at home
and at work we got a fully grown one .
a very dangerous animal ,eats about 4 kilos of meat a week .

No it is a wild animal, so it should stay in the wild. Would you like it if you were ripped from your home and thrown into some home that probably doesn't know the first thing about taking care of you? And what happens if after it gets big and it isn't so cute anymore that you don't want it. What will you do with it? And when they get big they need like 20lbs at least of fresh meat a day. And would you have the space for an animal that size? And think of the vet bills, if it got sick, where would you find a vet to treat it ? Not to mention in most places it is illegal to own one. Tigers are nice to look at in the zoo or on tv but not for your home.

Tigers are beautiful animals. And yes it is possible, with lots of money and lots of time. So often do big cats in captivity become restless and depressed. Really, I wouldn't recommend it b/c a tiger is not domesticated like our sweet little pussycats. Their natural habitat is in the wild. And I think white tigers are on the endangered species list anyway.
That is a sad way to treat such a beautiful creature!

I don't think tigers make good pets. And, in most places owning an exotic pet takes special licensing, permits and fencing/structures. I don't think it is practical. You could look at supporting the local tiger exhibit at a zoo or nature park and be part of keeping an endangered species alive.

NO ~ a tiger is a wild animal, they should be free!
Would you like to be captured and caged forever? Even if you were well taken care of and loved. Do you think you would be happy or would a part (a big part) of you want to be FREE.
One thing my parents thought me about life is to always ask myself a very simple question if I was ever in doubt about right or wrong. And that question is ~ how would I feel if I was in their shoes or in that situation? Try it sometimes!

NO! They're NOT good pets! And most states have laws against having exotic pets!
And just think--if it gets out and eats some child, YOU'RE going to be responsible! And if it gets out and animal control has to go catch it, then they'll either put it to sleep or you'll be fined!
Tigers are WILD ANIMALS! If you want to see one, go to the zoo or on a safari!
LEAVE WILD ANIMALS IN THE WILD!!!

You could probably raise a tiger until it is no longer a cub and its primal instincts kick in. Meaning when the tiger gets a taste for live flesh.

No, because they might kill you and eat you.
If you want a feline pet, get a house-cat that weighs about 10 pounds. That's a lot safer than a 1500 pound tiger.

In a word - NO!
In a few words - They might seem all cute n cuddly, but theyre wild animals an no amount of training can surpress its instincts. They are very likely to turn on you when they reach maturity for a number of different reasons. So, my advice would be not to get one unless you want to get eaten!
