gun registry? yes, very much so. I don't see why normal law abiding citizens would. you just register your guns. Just like you do your car. It is not like there is any consequence for doing so. That is unless you plan on committing a crime with it.

It violates my right to privacy guaranteed by Roe V. Wade. The concept that decision only protects women's privacy is short sighted considering the equal protection clause of the Constitution and the 14th Amendment.
The Second Amendment is a guarantee of my right to protect my life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Considering what Madison said in the Federalist Papers about the Second Amendment being vital to the protection of the States from the Federal Government getting to much power.
A gun registry just makes that much easier for the government to violate the social compact of the constitution, essentially giving them the idea where a weapon is if they want to remove it.

Hell no! I dont want the government to know what I have sitting in my closet and next to my bed loaded! Here in New Hampshire we dont have to regester our guns, thank god! The government wants guns regestered so when they try and disarm us they can easily find the people with the guns!

No way!! Guns are ours and the Government doesn't need to know who has what. You don't want your neighbors to know what you have in your bath room right? Same thing, what's yours is yours...PERIOD. Any ways I wanted to put my 2 cents worth in.

I would highly advise against it. A list like that is nothing more than an advertisement for criminals to come and steal them. Do you advertise your valuables?
