I was driving around my neighborhood and I noticed that there were a lot of roofing being done so I wondered if any women, out there, do this for a living

Yes, a female friend of mine used to be a roofer. In fact, she helped me out on a short roofing job once and I would have to say that she was a very capable roofer -- much better then most of the men I know. The world is made up of many individuals with vary degrees of talent -- the key is not to get stuck in the "group mentality" thinking level. Judge each individual separately regardless of their physical appearance. Good question. (Zimmer, John)

You will find women working in every field these days. There may not be many women doing roofing but there are some.

YES, you might even find a woman owned roofing company in your area and if so, apply there, they want you! If not, you just have to be nimble, not afraid of heights, be able to carry about 25 lbs and not ***** about the weather!

i have a freind that roofs with her hubby so yes women can roof
