I was on the Depo Shot for 9 years and went off of it on April 2002 and found out Nov 2002 that I was 5 weeks preg. It didn't take me long and I was on the shot a very long time. And I have a very healthy little girl who will soon be 3 yrs old. Good Luck to you.

I was on the depo shot for three years and once i stopped taking it i got pregnant 11 months later.
Some women don't get pregnant up to 18 months after stopping the shot.

I got pregnant on depo! Don't say it, I never missed my shot, I always got it a week early. I'm lucky though, I now have a beautiful 13 month old little boy running around the house.

After I got off of the Depo Shot it took two years for my period to come back. I've heard this from quite a few people. I say this to say it may take a while to become fertile again.

Yes. Got my first (and only) Depo shot in 2/03 and it wore off in 5/03. Got preg in 1/04.

its supposed to take upto 2 years for your body to get back to normal after coming off the depo but i suppose everyone is different i know my best friend got pregnant whilst on the depo injection twice so obviously it didt work for her

it all depends on how long you was getting the shot.it took me about one to two years but i was getting the shot for five years before i stop taking it

i think in some cases you could, how long did you use it? that could be a factor. hope that helps.
