I love Europe, and there is a wonderful place to go-Erzgebirge.
It's a region near the Czech border *sigh*.

Whenever I need a break, I close my eyes and find myself
sitting on a balcony in a small town (Schneeberg) of the vacation
apartment we rented as a family last summer. I watch the birds (swallows) swoop in and around the old houses. I peer off to the right and see the centuries old church on top of the hill. To my left are gardens and a woman hanging out her laundry.
Below are children playing in the narrow street. I stare ahead into the mists of the hills of the west and I feel at peace.

yes-that's where I like to go..... :)

Duck Harbour Pond, in Wayne County, PA. It's quiet, serene, peaceful and beautiful.. It's at the most northern tip of the Pocono Mountains and where they meet the Catskill Mountains. I grew up in that area and it's the best place to be to get away from all of the city life rat race. Do a google on it and find out for yourselves.
