You should go with neutral shades. Those are shades that look good on pretty much everyone. Most make-up brands will designate their colors as either warm, cool, or neutral. More important than the color of your eyes, is the skin tone you have. You can find out if you are warm or cool with some simple tests. Get some shades of oranges, yellows, browns and creams( cloth or shirts or whatever) Put them up against you and look at how your face looks. Does it brighten you or wash you out? Those are warm colors. Next, get white, black, blue/turquoise colors and try those.... those are cool colors. Again, does your face light up and brighten or do you look washed out? Once you figure out whether you are warm or cool, you can switch from just using neutrals to using the colors that are compatible with your skin tone. One hint too, people generally like the colors they look best in. So, let's say you really love blue, but hate orange, you are more likely to be a cool.

your eyes are probably "gray" and change depending on the lightning and/or the color of your top. The best way to make your eyes look pretty in any light is to wear gray eyeshadow. (No joke). The trick is to find one that goes well with your skin tone and that has a hint of shimmer (no sparkles unless you're 5!). Dust it lightly all over your lids and try complementing that with a kohl black eyeliner. I promise you'll look fab!

It would depend upon what colors they are. My eyes are hazel, and sometimes they look brown, sometimes they look green and sometimes they look dark blue, depending on what color clothes I'm wearing. I use Almay Intense Eye Color Shadow for Hazel eyes, and it works really well for me.
