Plastics eventually adsorb germs so they're not so good a reusable drinking bottles. However they can be used as:

1. Plant holders - Poke a bunch holes in the the bottle cap of a 2-liter plastic bottle. Then cut it in half and invert the top into the bottom half. Next put in your potting soil and plant and water. The bottom half serves as a water supply for the plant.

2. Wedding Trailer String - Tie different size, color and shape plastic bottles behind the limo of "just married" couple instead of using tin cans. The empty plastic bottles are less likely to cause damage if they detach and the noise behind the limo is less annoying.

3. Piggy Bank - Collect all of your loose changes in an old plastic bottle. When you ready to cash it in you can cut it open, spend your cash and recycle the waste. It's better than breaking a nice ceramic piggy bank just to get a few coins and more cost effective.

There's a few suggestions. I wouldn't suggest doing item-2 but I've done items 1 and 3. Good luck and have fun.

We used the top part of a 2 liter bottle (after it was cut in half) as a funnel to pour kitty litter from a bag into a plastic container that had held a different brand. We did this to keep the dog from knocking over the bag.

Also you can carry a 2 liter bottle of water in your car (especially during hot weather) in case your radiator overheats. Just don't try to put it in until the radiator cools down.

you can reuse plastic bottles as vases for flowers. dumbell weights (when filled with sand). a massager (edges and ridges are good for this) or hot water bottle. You can also get creative and cut off the bottoms of the bottles and use them for watercolors, while another whole bottle can be used to wash the brushes.

Fill them 3/4 full with water and put dry ice in them. Put the cap back on it and trow it as far as you can. It'll explode, make a loud bang, and send cold water all over. Disclaimer: do not let it explode in your hand or too close to anyone. It'll mess a person up.

Well, you can get crafty with them, like bird feeders and stuff. I've found they make a good b*ng. But if you're not into that sort of thing, re-fill them with mixed drinks like Kool-Aid of fresh Ice Tea. Yuo could have a bottle fight with your kids too!

Dog Toys, Ice packs for coolers, refilled with tap water or a mixed drink from home. If you're camping and prone to spilling, it can hold booze too.

Well. they can be re-used as PLASTIC BOTTLES.. You could fill them up with liquids and store them or carry the liquids around with them... Just like real bottles are used for.
They can also be very useful for storing air.. and gasses and can be used to add buoyancy to things, such as pontoons etc.
The can also be used for thermal insulation.
They could be used as landing pads for high jumpers, pole vaulters etc.
Use your imagination..
