I have a whole list of songs that I've titled "Music to drive off a cliff to". These are some of them.

Aimee Mann - Save Me (from the Magnolia soundtrack)
Aimee Mann - Wise Up
Nine Inch Nails - Something I Can Never Have
Radiohead - How To Disappear Completely
Radiohead - Talkshow host (Romeo + Juliet soundtrack)
The Cure - Trust, Apart, To Wish Impossible Things
Michelle Branch - Goodbye To You
Evanescence - My Immortal
Faith No More - Take This Bottle
Adam Hood - Million Miles Away
Muse - Sing for Absolution

The best feelgood albums for me are yes, Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head....it always reminds me of warm days spent at the lake with friends. And one of my best feel good songs is Revolting Cocks - Do Ya Think I'm Sexy. I dare you to listen to that song and feel depressed.

Great question!

Here Without You ::: 3 Doors Down

I met M met online 3 years before I met him in person. He lives on the other side of Canada. When he left to back home, I was sitting there in the dark listening to a cd and this song came on. Boy did I cry, and cry and cry as I listened to it over and over and over. It fit the situation so incredibly well. Very sad time, but yes he did return... but I haven't seen him in 2 years. I miss him so very much!!

Songs that make me feel good: "Open up your Heart & Let the Sun Shine In" by Frente, and almost every Beatles' song.

Songs that make me feel sad: "But Not For Me" (forgot who originally sang this.. but every version leaves me down in the dumps (just listen to the words: "..they're singing songs of love, but not for me... the brilliant sky above, but not for me..." if I hear this when I'm feeling sad, I'll feel even more depressed).

Depends...Right now I have been listening to the new Dixie Chicks CDs "taking the long way." It's not "country" its more rock. It is a great album! If you are in that kind of "f*ck you" or "i don't care what you think" mood...its great!
