Lead a good life and no one notices. That is what integrity is. If you appear to live a good life, but you are a phony, if you are discovered, the hypocrisy will create tremendous cynicism in those you had hoped to inspire. If you lead a good life, crowds may not cheer, bands may not play, flags may not fly, but your silent contribution to the world will be felt, even if no one knows where it is coming from.

I'm having a problem with this one. It is good to lead a good life even if no one notices - but, it can be good to inspire others to lead one, even if you're not.

The first choice. What is the point of appearance if you are a rotten person inside? In a case like that, it is better to be true to yourself. What would happen in your mind if you found out the most inspirational person in your life was a phony? You would probably be crushed.

If you APPEAR to lead a good life, you are leading a good life! And, the only person who can define "good life" is one's self ...... If no one notices, it is because we are all finally just reduced to dust in the wind. It is the good (or bad) we have done that remains.

It's better to lead the life that makes YOU happy and doesn't infringe on others' hapiness. If, as a byproduct, you inspire others to do so, then you get a cookie

this is a good question! JESUS said "be CHRISTLIKE"and to have his face when someone looks at you...hmm-well the bible also teaches us to not let your right hand know what the left is doing when it comes to good deeds in our life.it also teaches us to do things from the heart without thought of reward cause our reward is n heaven -so if noone notices then you havent got to good yet...JESUS will notice and thats all that matters anyways
