Mike, and alter ego "the Miz" is actually from Parma Oh (home of pink flamingos and high socks, and 10 min form me :) )

Although he isn't a "pro-wrestler" like Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan, he has been doing a lot of the amateur circuit, as well as leading clinics across the country. He's making his way up the chain, and hopes to break intot he big time!

He's done some amateur wrestling. Though he is creditted as being a Pro Wrestler as well as the host of WWE's Friday night Smackdown!
