The little girl next door to me grew up saying them. Some people thought it was so cute at age three when she repeated the words her Mom and Dad used when they got in their many fights.

It didn't seem so cute when she got older and used them to defend her own life (pregnant at 15 by her 16 year old boy friend). She slapped her own son for using the same language when he was three. Now, her language is common in the Women's prison where she resides for child endangerment.

I am told that I am too old to understand how the world has changed. So maybe "bad" words are common now, no matter how old you are.

My son used strong language when he was in the Navy, as my Dad before him, but they don't do that around me.

You should not use bad words. Using them will not make you a better person! Has any one ever scared you or hurt your feelings with words? Bad words usually hurt everyone who hears them. When you hear someone use bad words... look them in the eye...and remember what you see. It will be from a lack of self discipline. If you become upset over something..think about why you feel this way. Do not use bad words. Once you start, the next bad word from your mouth will come easier. You loose something very special when you pick up the habit of profanity (bad words). Please...stay "special".

The most common time of life to say bad words is when you are from a teen to the end of being a middle aged person, but even kids curse like my 7 year old sister and especially Hayt Elementary School in Chicago because lots of kids curse for example, people from Special Ed Classes, people who get suspended, 1st graders which is unbelievable and rare, and 8th graders who are 13-15 years old.

You should be 1001. That would be a good age to start. It is never cool to use these words and people are offended by them. You are a smart person and can get your point across without being vulgar or uncouth.

You should not start...it is a bad habit and once you start you will find it hard to stop...Why would you want to start saying bad words anyway? What you your mom and dad say about that?

I am one of the only people I know that doesn't use them at all, there's no need to use them to get a point across, and personally I think it's rather unattractive for a female to use foul language at any age.
