I've also lost weight even though I have stopped exercising recently...which scares me. I took a blood test about a week ago and it showed only normal range of markers for cancer...i.e. it came back negative. I'm getting an ultrasound tomorrow...but the bad thing is I have no insurance. testicle tenderness can be from an STD or a torsion, trauma, blue testicles, tumors, almost anything.
the fact that you also have left hip soreness, could be sciatica, shingles, arthritis, trauma, ,,,,
are they related? hard to say....
an US of the testicle is appropriate for problems, urine tests for a disease , blood tests could be appripriate as well and an MRI for the lower back (in case your hip pain is related to sciatica....)

Sounds strange... are you sure you don't have a hernia? I know when you pick up something heavy and strain yourself you cause a small rupture in the lower intestines and get a hernia. Somehow the testicles are connected w/ this problem. As far as cancer, you should check each testicle by rolling your thumb thoroughly on each one and checking for unusual lumps. I would get this checked out though and get some real answers from a specialized doctor. Good luck.
