destroying the middle class is equivalent to destroying the upper class. Without middle class many businesses will go bankcorrupt. Most of the spending are from middle class. There aren't many rich people to spend money and the poor people can't afford much.

Before any of you start pointing fingers at liberals, you should notice that the source is a conservative website (or so they say).
I don't think the administration is trying to destroy the middle class, just disinterested in preserving it.

... the advantage would be more money and more profit for the wealthy... no middle class means a very cheap workforce... that's easy enough...
It's kind of like the lottery... they want every 10th person in the middle class to join the upper class while the other 9 fall into the low ranks of middle class near poverty...
you can look at the census and the number of those in poverty is clearly growing... they aren't coming from the ranks of the wealthy
