the car has no problem starting when i get up in the morning and start it or even if i start it later that day, my problem comes after i drive it and get where im going then cut it off, in the winter time i would need a boost if its real cold in tne morning, now that it is hot out i need a boost after i cut it off from driving it, or i'll have to wait a few hours before it starts on its own, or get a boost

If the car starts imediatly when getting it jump started then I would say you probably need a battery. If your taking short trips to the store with it your really not letting the charging system fully charge the battery to it's full capacity. Try a battery first and go from there!!

Sounds like it could be several things. First, run it until it dies. Now, shoot some starting fluid into the intake. Does it start and then die? If so, replace the fuel filter. If the problem persists, replace the fuel pump. If the car doesn't start on starting fluid, your ignition system is on the blink. Probably the ignition module. Does it have a distributor? If so, replace the little black module inside the distributer. If not, there will be a big flat pack that the coils sit on top of. That will be your problem. Good luck.

it sounds like you have battery issues. If the battery is bad, it will drain down, which is why you need a jump start, but after sitting it will charge up enough to get it going again, and example is a rechargable battery, when you think it is dead, let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes, it will recharge and give you a minute or two more power, and to have to get out and kill the engine, you probably have a bad ignition switch, when you turn the key off the motor still runs? So then you need to unhook the battery terminal to kill it? If your doing that, then it will not be tight enough and will give you problems also.

Sounds like there has been a lot of after market installation work done on this car, and that is where I would start looking for wiring problems. Check the remote start, alarm, and kill switch jobs and I would not be surprised if some vibration has not loosen a connector or two, which is disrupting the starting circuit. Since a couple of them are not working, this is a good place to start looking and see about getting it restored back to stock without those functions at all.

There are many reasons for a car to not start.....it may not be getting enough fuel or your spark plugs may be in need of replacemement (does it idle roughly when running?) you may simply need a new battery or alternator (requireing you to "jump" start it often) other problems could include the ignition, distributor, fuel pump, fuel injectors or plug wires.......the best thign to do is take it to a reputable mechanic and have a vehicle diagnostic run on it......there are many places that dont charge for this....I think Auto Zone is one of them......depending on the problem it might actually be less expensive to buy a new vehicle.......but try some routine fixes first.

Carbureators are obsolete now and were in 92. I think you can rule that out. Take it to a repair facility you know and are familiar with to get a professional diagnosis. If you don't know one personally, ask someone you know and trust for a recommendation.

it sounds like it could be the starter or the alternator if you can hit the starter while some one is turning the key and it starts then its the starter i would go and get a digoniess test done its usual free or you can pick one up at your nappa or what evers close
