This is a great book! It should be a lot of fun for you at any age!!
Like this? I found this great book: Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman?
"That's right" said Door. Her cheek was grazed, and her dirty reddish hair was tangled; tangled but not matted. And her eyes...Richard realized that he could not tell what color her eyes were. They were not blue, or green, or brown, or gray; they reminded him of fire opals: There were burning greens and blues, and even reds, and yellows that vanished and glinted as she moved. She took the bird from him, gently, held it up, and looked it in the face. It tipped its head on one side and stared back at her with bead-black eyes. "Okay," she said, and then she made a noise that sounded like the liquid bubling of pigeons. "Okay Crrppllrr, you're looking for the marquis de Carabas. You got that?
If you like London, fantasy, this is a great read. I read it in one day. Door is a teenager that has the ability to open any type of door or lock...
And there is a bounty on her head...They travel to "Underground London" where if you don't "Mind the Gap" the Gap monster could get you!

You might enjoy any of the books by Piers Anthony. They are easy to read - but a little more involved than "Harry Potter" books. You might enjoy those.

Madeleine L'Engel--A Wrinkle in Time and its sequels. Those are kind of sci-fi/fantasy.

Go to your library. Librarians are so resourceful. I am sure they can help you and at least you can check out books for free.
