Because parents are afraid their brainless teenage daughters will get on a plane to Israel to marry some high school dropout loser half a world away!
There's nothing wrong with MySpace--it's what kids might get into that worries the parents. It's just a place to meet people and chat. Some use it as a place to hook up. Sometimes old men get on there trolling for impressionable young girls.

a lot of not so smart[naive] kids are hooking up with really bad people.children are being raped, perhaps sold into sex slavery, homes are being robbed, all kinds of bad stuff, because no one really knows who they are talking too. Heard on the news tonight that employers are using these sites to check out perspective employees, so some photos can haunt you forever.
