I've heard of it. The toothpast is supposed to fill in the scratches. I think you're supposed to put it on and then wipe it off with a soft cloth. It won't work on bad scratches, though. I would get a Skip Dr. It fixes scratches in video games, cds, & dvds, and it's only about $30 (or less)

Somehow it doesn't sound like it would work. Toothpaste usually has particles that clean your teeth, but would probably scratch the heck out of your disc.

I read about this in college, it's true. You can't just rub it all over like you're brushing your teeth. You just do nice slow strokes starting at the middle and working your way towards the outside edge.

I've heard that it works but never tried it. I know that brasso which is a brass polish has worked for me many times and it's cheap and easy to find.

it could work. try it on a cruddy old dvd first. btu i have this thing like its alcohol spray then you put it in this thing and it spins and cleans but it totally like makes scratches go away idk its awesome. it wa slike soo cheap though..give it a try it can't hurt. the dvd's are scratched what do you have to lose?
