When I'm online, I can no longer see the pictures on webpages. I get a blank box with a small square containing a little red X. Checked the internet options to make sure that multimedia show pictures was enabled. I have dial-up service. What else should I try?

I used to have dial-up AOL, faced same problem. I am sure it is about connection speed. Now-a-days, the pages containing lot of graphics which takes lot of time to download.

Maybe your connection speed is not fast enough so it failed to download the pictures to show on your browser. Or maybe you pressed 'STOP' ?

it could be because your not connecting fully to the page, also the pcitures may not be there, Another cause can be, you need java and/or flash player.
