Humm intersting. I have to agree with others who said to keep it. It will indeed be worth something in the long run because of it's unique difference to regular pennies.
My suggestion, get your folks to allow you to put it in a safe deposit box for safe keeping. Later you can go online and do a search to see if it's been reported, how many were printed that way and what it's estimated value would be if sold. That and how much it's worth if kept as a collector's item.

Good luck.. (think I'm going to go through my pennies now see what error I might find too!)

Wow, what an observation tallent...I never noticed it, because I'm always trying to get rid of the pennies making my wallet heavy without really having any value in it. I don't think you're in for 'mucho money', because I just checked my wallet and I have 11 of them like that, so I uspect they all have UNITED STATES oF AMERICA printed on them. But I'm willing to sell mine for £10 to collectors, if interested....$1discount for orders over 10 pcs. :D

I've never notice that myself, but if they are worth something just imagine the money that people just toss away because pennies are the coins that most people throw away, or get sucked up in a vacuum if you have children. LOL

I can't say I agree with the ones who says to keep it for it's worth money cause it's not rare since I have one too... I think they are all like that. I have never noticed it before but cool.
