Immaturity and poor self-esteem I believe to be the two main causes. It has nothing to do with a women driving a man to cheat! If a man is mature he can hold off on sexual gratification and he realizes the value of the women who he considers his partner. Men who have low self-esteem have to have multiple women telling them how great they are in bed, brag to their friends about their sexual conquests, or tell themselves they are still sexually attractive to women (it could be all of the above). In any case, if you are with a cheater its not your fault. Mature men know the consequence of causing emotional pain to the women they love and they know that the best sex comes from a emotionally committed relationship. Whoever told you that a women drives a man to cheat has no idea what they are talking about so I would ignore it.

According to my ex-boyfriend,(who has never cheated on me as far as I know), a man is never satisfied. There is always a woman with better breasts, or a cuter butt or a prettier face and it is a conquest to see if they can get it. A man has a desire to feel like they can still score with other women, even though they have someting good at home. He went on to say that sometimes a woman can drive a man to cheat because if they are miserable at home the man will seek comfort elsewhere. He said the thing that makes a man cheat is the same thing that makes women cheat.

I asked him if he had ever cheated in the past. And of course he said yes. And I asked him why he did it, and he said because he didn't take the relationship very seriously. He said he cannot give a really good, sound, rational reason for why he did what he did. He said that he felt sorry after he did it because he didn't have any intention of hurting anyone. Honestly, I think it is a bunch of crap. They should at least have the decency to communicate with their partner. How hard is it to say, I am not happy in the relationship and you deserve someone better than me?

Usually people cheat when there are problems in the relationship. It might be a lack of emotional connection, stress, no sex, and most often it's those plus a massive lack of communication.
I don't know about a woman "driving" a man to cheat - but things in a relationship can sure make people want to cheat - not because they don't love their partner, but because they need something that their relationship isn't giving them at the time.

I don't agree with your mom. Sometimes men aren't respectful.

But consider this, I dated a jealous and insecure woman who accused me of cheating or planning to cheat whenever any of my female friends came up.

I'll tell you what, if you're going to be constantly accused of infidelity no matter what you do or say, you might as well be guilty. I never cheated on her but I might as well have. I can understand the saying that a woman drives a [good] man to cheat.

Sometimes we just want to be loved and respected. If we can't get that where we're supposed to, well you know what happens.

there are many things that lead a man (OR A WOMAN) to cheat...
First and foremost, it is hanging onto a relationship that has already died. Many people do this out of fear that no one will want them for anything more than sex.....If the relationship is healthy, there is no cheating (unless youre with a pathological sex addict).
Second, if the sex in a relationship is not open and does not allow each to explore their fantasies, cheating is a way to do so (again, the relationship is not healthy)
Third, if one of the people in a relationship is getting laid once every month, there is an obvious need there (again, unhealthy)
Bottom line is that if you are in a bad relationship, get the hell out before the need (or the perceived need to cheat)

Yes a woman will drive a man to cheat but only because he is immature and stupid. A real man would not cheat.

A man cheats for many reasons. First they get bored with the same old spices, variety is what they want, yet they don't know how to ask for it. Some men are so afraid of asking for what they want and need to please them. It's just easier to cheat and get a different flavor. The best advice I could give you is, become a sl** in the bedroom and a lady outside of it. That is what they really need.

Different reasons for cheating, for different situations. Some ppl cheat on their partner because of lack of sexual activity and excitement in bed and relationship. Others cheat to get back at their partner for doing the same thing. Some are just dumb and make a mistake because of thinking with their sexual organs and not brains.

The same thing that makes a woman cheat on her husband. There's always another side to look at.

No, its never a woman that would drive a man to cheat, its selfishness, thinking they can just have their cake and eat it too. Not considering anyones feelings. And its immaturity.

Nothing is your fault . If he cheats . He hasn't grown up yet. He wants his cake and eat it too as the old saying goes. I advise you to get out now and to save your self a lot of pain. Are you will always have a aching heart . he doesn't deserve you, if he has to cheat on you. and he is truly not in love with you. Because if your truly in love you wouldn't cheat on the one you love
