A deodorant won't really work against wetness....it just it to coverup and stop the germs from multiplying that cause odor. Anti-perspirants are what will stop wetness. I find the best one is one called Certain Dri (can be hard to find), it works best by far. It is so good that I only have to use it every other night ( you actually put this one on at bedtime). I then just use my favorite deodorant in the morning to smell nice, and I never have a problem with wet armpits anymore (and I am heavy sweater)

The best one I've found to control the odor and wetness is Mitchum. However, I try to use at least three different deodorants so my body doesn't get used to any of them. Otherwise, the stink prevails. I also take a shower with antibacterial soap. The other deodorants I use is Sure unscented solid, and Degree. However, Mitchum works best. There is Mitchum for men and women.

years ago I tried Mitchems but that did not work and made my
skin break out, then I tried Drysol which helped but had a alcohol
smell to it. I tried other remedies at that time there were not many. Now my system has changed and I use Arrid xx and that works now, but years ago that would not have worked. I hear that
there are numerous new methods for those that perspire heavily.
You do not want to tamper with the sweat glands but now they are
using I think I heard botox for sweating. If you have a major problem with sweating I would look into it further with a doctor.

For men? I have found the best to use is Right Guard, because it is just the best against wetness and odor. Their "Right Guard Xtreme" smells really good, and it stays on nicely so that if you go out and don't come home until the next day, you won't have to worry about nasty odors. It also comes in clear (which I have found is not as effective as the solid). The "invisible solid" is great though because it won't get on your clothes, so you don't have to worry about the white stripes on your shirts.

I enjoy smelling the Gillette Deodarant my husband wears. I'm not sure if it keeps you dry I don't really rub there to find out but if you sprinkle some manly smelling powder, maybe baking soda that might work.

Arrid Xtra stick, I think that's what it's called, I've been using it for 20 years because it's awesome so I barely remember the name. Look for the blue solid stick deo, you won't regret it.
