Omg cool I agree with you American idol was ok at 1st season.The only amercian idol that made it was Kelly and she isn't good either.American idol what a stupid name ! .I hate it and never pay attention to it couldn't care less!.And paula is annoying !

Nope, it's a bummer. A real amateur show would be better. All it is is hype, and cheap hype, to get 6 or 7 talented people to perform to somebody else' specs, not their own.
But if you're trying to get into the biz, any publicity can be good. Wonder what kind of contracts they have to sign?

If you are the only one then I have to be the second in line. I really do not care about it either. I think that My mom sings better then half of those people and I do not see them signing her up on a contract.

There's me. Honestly, 99.9% of singers don't get to where they are through being on a talent show. I don't see why someone should through American Idol.

No, I don't have any interest in it whatsoever! When I hear people talking about the different contestants or what ever they are, I have no clue what is going on! That's the way I like it!

I don't care about it at all. But we only get 2 channels at my house so its something to watch and laugh at when people get rejected.
