I can't open my attachment in my email, It says that my plugin files are corrupt or invalid

plugins is a set of files usually concerns with the Java, in your IE, so either you update or upgrade your IE.
IE = internet explorer.
if you are using XP with SP2, it does that lots of times.

A plug-in is a program that adds a feature to your browser, such as the ability to read a PDF file or see certain types of picture ot video files. If you are getting a plug-in error, it probably means that your browser is unable to open the program needed to see or use the type of file the attachment is. Trying saving the attachment to your hard drive and opening the file from there. That will bypass the need to have a plug-in for that attachment.

basically plugin files are those which are required to play/run a certian thing like if a DVD player is not installed on your system and you want windows media player to run the dvd then you have to install the plug in
