By listening through ears, that song sounds like classic pop. But if u watch the music video,it's more like alternatives pop.THis original song was under the classical 60's-90's hits. A similiar song would be like westlife songs which they sing most of the once-famous song in the modern era again.

Most definitely pop. Of the bubblegum variety. Though, some consider it "R&B", for unknown reasons.
