Because not everyone in this country is a Christian. And last I checked, we still had the First Amendment.

Because these so called values you think would be great in government? is the reason why we are fighting today's war. Think about tha statement for a bit.

seperation of church and state...
Christian values are actually BAD as sociology tools...
And nobody seems to know what Jesus actually said..
but if the Churches could ever find out what Jesus actually
said, that would be kewl, but they won't, because the christian
churches are evil propaganda toys of the control freaks.

Basically the US Government and most local governements are. Judeo-Christian ideals are firmly rooted in our modern Western legal code including most governments here in the US....

We have a Christian President right now. Unfortunately, we have a very secular society which is eliminating God in just about everything.

Because they are scared of offending someone or different beliefs. (prayer in school, God in the Pledge of Allegance, In God We Trust on money) Our country was founded on Christianity.
