It is human nature to look when someone walks by. And if it is a pretty lady, the look will probably linger. I am a construction worker, and yes, I have known a few who take it to the limits. But, that can be said about any profession.

My husband owns his own construction business and therefore...NO, they are not perverts. Do you consider yourself a pervert if you look at an attractive man? Of course not. They are just looking...and being around other men means they might look more openly, just like if you were with a group of women and saw a cute guy walk by;.....the group would start giggly and talking about him. There are perverts in the world, but you cannot sterotype all construction workers. Thats like saying all blondes are whores.

My boyfriend will answer this one: On a construction job site, everything is dirty, there are no women to be seen, and the entire environment just isnt a pretty site. Every day from the time the sun rises, they're in this environment, so anytime something attractive like a beautiful woman enters the picture, they cant help but stare to distract themselves. It's like a breath of fresh air from the ugly environment.

Men (and women too) are perverts - not just construction workers! There are plenty of men who are lawyers/doctors that ogle the women they work with, but since they aren't on the street the average person doesn't see.

I wouldnt say we are perverts, but we work damn hard, long hours, with very lettel respect and joy so when we see some one thats just sexy as all that yes its nice to look at . If you dont like it than walk a difernt way, change your close to look like a hobo, ext.yes its your right to look like or at whom ever you want to, just some of us have bad manners?!
