I did, I thought he was the better choice (Not that Kerry was even a choice) and I think he has done a good job with what has happened in the world since he has been in office. We are not the only ones the terrorist have hit, people act like it is an American war and it isn't solely. And the economy is booming. Gas prices? There are times where the prices have raised by percentage just as much, I remember the fuel shortages in the 70's. You have to look at the overall picture, some of this was just inevitable.

How interesting that you have asked about those who voted for Bush, and a number of people have ignored this and tried to make it a forum about Kerry. Very odd.

Also interesting that the question is asked dispassionately, and with courtesy, but those butting in to tell us why they have NOT supported Bush are quite touchy, prickly and less than polite.

Oh, by the way, I voted for Bush because I liked his fiscal policy.

Which President Bush? I voted for both, but am going to assume you mean the current George W.

I voted for him because of his views on smaller conservative government. My hopes were that he would reduce the size of the government and eliminate government programs. As it turns out, whatever he has been able to save we have probably spent on the war efforts. However, that problem was onthe horizon regardless of who occupied the White House. Kerry and his party want to pay for everything and have a big government. People should not live off of the government. The government was not meant to provide for everything. Kerry seemed like a government expansionist.

"...a government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have."

I voted for Bush twice and I would vote for him again if he could run. The reason the socialists around the world don't like him is because he can't be pushed around. I don't care for his stance on immigration but overall he's done a remarkable job with the mess that was left to him.

I voted for Kerry because I thought Bush was an idiot, and I'm generally in favor of intelligence as a character trait of the leader of the world superpower.

My sister voted for him. We had a long e-mail war before the election about the Iraq war, etc. I tried my best to convince her that invading Iraq was a stupid thing to do, but she wouldn't be convinced.

Short answer, she voted for him cause she's a "security mom". And she likes his "crazy foo" diplomacy.

I voted independent because I thought Kerry was an idiot too, and I despised John Edwards. Luckily, I live in California, so I have the luxury to vote independent since our votes don't count.

I didn't vote for President Bush. Why? Because I'm Canadian. And I didn't vote for our Canadian version of Bush either. Why? Because he's a Canadian version of Bush. And yet, he won the election. So now we're stuck with a Canadian version of Bush.

After invasions of Bush the Americans should not have voted for him.

I voted for the other guy, but the ballot at the machine still registered as Bush, and I had no paper trail to prove it wrong.
