you don't!! you lie and say it is the PRETTIEST baby you have ever seen!!! DO IT!!! or say your sorry if you have already said their baby was ugly...you are kinda not smart for doing that.

You should never tell anyone they have the ugliest baby you have ever seen. I thought my sisters baby was the ugliest one I saw but I never told her that. He had the ugliest nose you ever saw. I had to lie and tell her he was cute. Now I had pretty babies with little teeny noses that are so cute!

Well, you don't. All parents think their babies are beautiful and the funny thing is, in their own way, all babies ARE beautiful! I guess the real question is, why would you want to say that to someone? If they are not directly asking for your opinion, then keep it to your self. Or, if they are asking, or if you feel at a loss for words when their gushing about the kid, pick out one good feature or quality. Like: Look at his dimples, how cute! -or- I like how dark her hair is, that's so pretty. And if you can't even pick a feature, Look how much he/she has grown, how alert they are, watching their surroundings, etc. I'd say the golden rule is, don't say anything to them that you wouldn't want to someday hear about your own child. You'd only hurt their feelings and instill a sense of doubt.

You don't, unless you never, ever want to socialize with these people again. Everyone with a baby thinks their baby is the cutest, smartest kid in the world. Actually some babies are just not attactive, but surprisingly enough they grow up to be beautiful. Must be the ugly duckling syndrome!
Keep your feelings to yourself.

You never really tell parents their baby is ugly.Just look at the pics,smile and say lovely and move on.

You need to download a song called "Ugly Baby" (Australian comedian, forget his name) burn it to a unlabeled cd and dicretely leave it somewhere in their house :) Or you could avoid saying how bad it looks by saying something like "he/she's got your eyes"

That is one original looking baby they definately broke that mold when it was born.
