Yes, and in fact, my dearest hubby became my best friend before we started dating. Who better to spend the rest of your life living with than your best friend? Plus you tend to be yourself more around close friends, so they already know you well and you don't have that awkwardness at the beginning of a relationship where you're trying to impress each other. On the other hand, I had another best friend as a teenager that I had a crush on, but I never could get up the courage to say anything about it because I didn't want to make our friendship awkward if things didn't work out, and I wasn't sure if he was interested in changing our relationship. I guess whether or not it's a good thing depends on the situation.

actually i have never but often wondered what the feeling would be like to be friends with someone and then suddenly having "different" feelings for them all of a sudden or over time.
i think that would be a little scary since you don't know how they would react to that transformation in the relationship.

yes i have fallen in love with my best freind before. but he didnt swing that way. its easy when everythin is perfect and you know and like every little thing about each other
