Are you tired of hearing about people that are on this or that or somesuch other benefit thing that don't really need it? Would swinging the budget axe on about 80% of that sort out the issue pretty quickly?

I'm not asking this to be evil and selfish, but rather with an eye toward ending the abuse of such programs that have caused them to balloon exponentially due to people's inherent desire to take a free ride...

I'm inclined to agree. The welfare state is not being used the way it was intended, and I for one get fed up with watching someone on food stamps buy steaks with my tax money while I budget and buy chicken and ground beef so I can afford to put gas in the car.

... of course, some are between jobs, and the rush to get jobs would make them very difficult to get... so those people would have no money and the crime rate would skyrocket along with starvation...

But hey... why should you care about the poor? It's not you so why should you care... I think that's the Republican motto right?

Maybe one day, you're luck will change and you may need a little help... and I hope no one is there to give it to you, since you have no care to give it to others...

hahaha... and you say you're the "moral majority"... about as moral as the Romans..

EDIT:
every government program has it's abuses...
but why do you choose the one that helps the poorest of people instead of looking at the abuses of the IRS and coorperate welfare by the most wealthy... the money saved would be considerably more than the small checks given out by welfare...

But I guess you don't care about abuse by the wealthy?

No! Just continue to enforce the welfare to work program. The weening process minimizes the lawsuits and riots that could occur while building a stronger American workforce. Peace.

I got an idea, why don't we just kill the poor people and be done with it. That would take care of your little problem. If one of your family falls below the poverty level we can just exacute them and that way only ones left will be the rich, because many in the middle class would be gone also. Your are an idiot.
