The meaning of guarranty is that when there is a problem or defect in the product it would be replaced but the warranty means that the product would be simply repaired. that is why warranty is for more years than guarranty.

a guarantee is saying they are guarranting the product is good for what they say it does. A warranty is for is something goes wrong you have the length of the warranty to get it fixed or replaced.

A warranty oftentimes is lip service, a guarantee in most cases is a binding contract. This question furnishes an argument in semantics ... if you really think about it
