Good place to live? I'm looking to move out to southern California and need some city/neighborhood suggestions.

San Diego County is going to be one of the most expensive places to live in So Cal.
If you want to leave near the beach let me give you some good places...
Carlsbad (expensive but very nice)
Long Beach (Near LA, Near the water, moderately expensive)
If you want Inland
Temecula is the best :)
You could also choose the Greater LA Area.
If you want mountains
Big Bear
Arrowhead
If you want desert.
Blythe will be booming soon... it was 111 degs their this weekend though... but its on the colorado river so you could have some fun doing that... not much else though... pretty small place... Deserts suck...
Do you have someone you know here? I would come on out for a couple of weeks and find a place you like. There is just too much to choose frome, and it depends a lot on what you like.
As far as neighborhoods are concerned it really matters on the type you are looking for in that also... family, college, beach, etc...
